One of the leading National Security Solutions providers, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. has announced a $27 million single award IDIQ contract of its Unmanned Systems Division (USD) with a U.S. Government agency related to unmanned drone systems.

Its USD is an industry leader in the rapid design, development and fielding of affordable high performance jet powered unmanned aerial drone systems for tactical, combat and target applications. Work under this contract will be performed at secure Kratos facilities and at government locations. Kartos specializes in products like its MQM-178K also known as Firejet which is its smallest of aerial targets, developed for carrying carrying a combination of internal and external payloads including tow targets, smoke oil, proximity scoring, passive & active (RF) augmentation, and infrared (IR) augmentation.
