Ground Penetrating Radar Tested from Drone

See through the surface of ground, ice or any structure with a drone equipped with Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) SPH Engineering, developer of UgCS – world leading ground control professional software, and Radarteam Sweden AB – developer and manufacturer of ground-penetrating radars (GPR), completed combined tests of a drone equipped with ground-penetrating radar (GPR).

The drone used was DJI M600 equipped with Radarteam’s Cobra Plug-In GPR with SE-70 antenna.

During these tests underground objects were detected 10 meters below ground when the drone was flying at an AGL altitude of 5 meters. Mission planning done using UgCS – http://www.ugcs.com GPR system by Radarteam – http://www.radarteam.se
