This October will prove to be not only educational but also exciting for drone enthusiasts, as the Drone World Expo launches at the heart of Silicon Valley – San Jose Convention Centre – this week. With several days of demonstrations, instructional sessions, workshops and exhibits lined up, drone industry experts, drone pilots and UAV aficionados will discuss the future of drone technology and the world of potential that accompanies this exciting field.
Without a doubt it will the most exciting Drone World Expo yet. “We are thrilled to be back in San Jose, the heart of Silicon Valley, and gather thousands of commercial drone users to hear from over 125 speakers and see the latest technology on display and in action,” said Joelle Coretti, Vice President and Event Director. “We have a phenomenal line-up of sessions and amazing thought leaders who will be presenting the most up-to-date regulatory information, commercial applications and use cases. You never know what might be announced or unveiled at Drone World Expo and we’re excited to find out!”
It is the third year the Drone World Expo has been organised. More than 40 sessions of insightful education workshops are slated, ensuring drone experts can further hone their skills with informative discussions on the most recent innovations and advancements in drone application to commercial and industrial markets.
This year three main topics are under the microscope: public safety, agriculture and inspection. AMA, DJI and Fly-Robotics will present a Public Safety Training Workshop, MicaSense will present Sensors and Analytics for Precision Agriculture and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide presents sUAS for Inspections.
